VENTS resides in Auckland, a city whose style warriors have scarred its name deep into the grain of graffiti worldwide. While resting just outside the limelight, the artist formally known as WEBS is among the few founding members of RTR; a well established crew of writers who are now spread across the Tasman.
There is a refined sense of awareness when VENTS applies paint to a surface. Aside from driving the colour wheel into a state of absolute delirium, there’s a highly tactical use of balance and composition at play that can be easily overlooked as every technique is delivered so polished.
